Not Wrong:   Shaykh Isa Pantami Inviting Nigerian Minister to Accept Islam



Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabakatuh.

I begin with the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Inviting others to Islam is one of the noblest deeds and a believer takes advantage of all circumstances before him to invite non-Muslims to the magnificent fold of Islam. This mission is honorable that it was solely the work of the Holy Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them).

It is a glorious mission as it entails calling people to leave the depth of darkness and embrace the light of Islam. If the Honorable Minster out of his own personal volition and tolerance and quest to know more about Islam visited An-Nur Masjid during Shaykh Dr. Pantami's Tafseer session then wisdom dictates that Shaykh takes advantage of the situation to invite him to Islam.

We all know in the history books and in the Sunnah of the Prophet, Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, that he publicly invited non-Muslims to Islam and even when he went to Madinah he continued doing so until Allaah took his soul.

Moreover, the Prophet  Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, despite allowing non-Muslims into his Holy Masjid never parted with them without calling them to the way of Allaah. 

No bad faith in inviting Dalung to accept Islam using the Word of Allaah, I ask what better opportunity than when he is seated in the House of Allaah. Again, whatever one does, he is not perfect in the eyes of men but Allaah for Whose sake deeds are done rewards any sincere caller to the truth.
